Prior to agriculture, how many individuals could one ancient, semi nomadic Native American tribe support?

“Great Question” (2points)

How many individuals could a tribe support in a place where there was no agriculture, like in far northern Alaska?

I’ve been looking but it’s oddly hard to find a number. I’d guess about 50?

Best anthropological estimates are groups of hunter-gatherers ranging in size from 20 to 200, and many were banded together in tribes of 2,000 or more.
