The police refer to them as phantom vehicles.
It’s a vehicle driving at night with just their daylight running lights on.
Newer vehicles automatically have their headlights on when the vehicle is running, but they also have their dash lights on as well.
People fail to realize their tail lights are not on in this mode, making them extremely hard to see when over taking them at night.
With technology being so wonderful couldn’t the manufacturers have an indicator light on the dash telling the driver they are in this mode?
