My friend is absolutely convinced we are alike. (From the same style of clothes to shows, games and movies) He suffers from depression and believes I do too.

If I show I’m sad he’ll say I’m depressed and think I’m going to kill myself or harm myself.

How do I tell him otherwise? Saying I’m Not isn’t working.
