Do you expext truck drivers to swerve (probably killing themselves), or do you believe most would stay on course no matter what?

“Great Question” (0points)

Giving the trucker no choice by an error you did, but to leave the highway possibly killing themselves or directly hitting you causing great damage and possibly killing every one in your car.
What would you expect the transport driver to do?

Here is a video , this is sorta what I am trying to say…
https://youtu.be/eWuK-fi-D_w

Let me tell you from my view,I would be standing on the brakes, but I would be driving through them I wouldn’t be swerving and crashing.
And the truck I drive has 2 trailers so it’s a lot longer than the 2 in the video.
Did you notice that idiot never even stuck around to see if those drivers were alright.

Oh my! And the driver of the car just drove away like nothing happened! It reminds me a bit of people driving slowly in the passing lane . Oblivious.
To answer your question, I would expect the driver of the truck to try to slow down but not swerve – exactly as we do when there is an animal in the road. Sorry, Bambi, but your number is up. Swerving quickly could have dire consequences if another vehicle is alongside the truck.

I looked at the video again and noticed that there was a bus on the left side of the truck!

A couple of years ago came on an accident a rig similar to mine upside down over the bank, driver really beat up truck ad trailers total loss, because he swerved to miss a deer.
I will do everything in my power to avoid an accident but swerve or leave the highway, and that is 99% of us so people please think of that the next time you cut a transport off,or just have to be in front of one at all costs.

I heard somewhere that in Germany it is illegal to swerve to avoid an animal.
(Maybe @ragingloli can verify.)

Best to stay on course. Less damage to the vehicle & trailer/load.

If ya swerve most likely going to crash, if I can get over a bit and avoid great but other than that I will be standing on the brakes but driving straight through whatever is in front of me.
I would like people to know that about transport drivers they seem to want to cut off and be in front of at all costs.
