I looked up Consumer Reports’ Best Time to Buy Things and When to Get the Best Deals on TVs and Kitchen Appliances

Looking at the chart in the second link, which tracks just a handful of specific models, it seems there isn’t really a season. The low prices seem to show each model goes on sale and then back up every few weeks.

My takeaway is define your target and then diligently check the advertisements until you find a good fit.

Also, see if your local stores have a stash of discounted items. Scratched, returns, cancelled special orders, things like that. Home Depot has those items together in a corner of the appliance section. I like to look in there.

I would not recommend winter deliveries, unless it is boxing day. Too cold to keep the door open. They have special prices like in Boxing day and other holidays.

Do’t know about where you live; but here in GA, there’s NO special season. Around ANY holiday seems to be when they go crazy here!!! The other thing you might try is to go into the store, find yourself s hungry salesperson & try to barter with them. IF they won’t play, you’re out of NOTHING!!! Get on Lowe’s or Home Depot’s email list & then go to their site sfveral times close together to look at what appliances you’re interested in. You’ll magically start to receive emails with special prices!!!

Perhaps Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

I suggest Black Friday as well.

Since you know now you will be needing one, you can keep your eye on the prices and know if you are getting a good deal.
