Does this mean Kansas is a blue state now?

Looking at the NY Times results page You still have 3 out of 4 US House seats as®. And the state-wide seats except for governor. And the state house and senate.

So I’d say no.

Some impressive showings from the Dems though. Great to see Kelly beat Kansas Kris Kobach. There could be 100 women in the US House and your Sharice Davids is one.

Not really. If anything it means that intelligent Kansas don’t buy the reactionary Tea Party bullshit that Kobach and Brownback were selling.

So….why aren’t we blue? Not enough intelligent people in Kansas?

The Steve King voters are sure extreme. He’s more openly racist than even an average Republican.

Though I’m thinking immigrants are going to improve that corner of the state and move it to normality. The K-12 district King attended as a kid has a mariachi band program like other schools have clarinets and flutes and trumpets.
