Gosh, @ragingloli, you didn’t strike me as someone who would celebrate Christmas.

Probably brisket. My daughter has to work at the hospital that night, so we’ll likely eat early.

This isn’t a straight out answer type question.
For many, many years we had a kind of party with snacks and finger food only. Then dinner on Christmas, which was usually a ham dinner with all the fixings. Then my SIL decided we didn’t need all that junk food (poop head) and wanted the Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. Now this year she doesn’t want it at her house. I always do Thanksgiving at my small house. They have a huge house. So I have no idea what dinner is going to be this year.

@chyna, come to my house for Christmas dinner, we have fancy Mac and cheese and lotsa wine. (We’ll have beer for you!)

Will be at my son and DIL’s. She’s having a crowd so she said she is getting catered food. Some of the meals will certainly be Fillipino.

Dec 24 (Christmas dinner in our house) I make one of the dishes my husband grew up with since his family celebrates Christmas. It’s called picadillo, and it’s ground pork, a light tomato based sauce, onion, a touch of garlic, salt, green olives, raisins, and chicken thighs and small cubes of ham. I like it with white rice, they eat it with French rolls, sometimes soft tortillas. I also will serve a seafood soup to start. It will likely be just my husband and me.

The week before we are doing Christmas/MIL birthday with my in-laws so if they serve the Christmas foods I might change my Dec 24 menu to honey baked ham, green bean casserole and new potatoes. Really, whatever my husband wants me to make, it’s not my holiday, he has the memories of the day, not me. I’m just craving the honey baked since we didn’t have it for Thanksgiving this year.

The 25th I plan on having Jewish Chinese for a late lunch.

Tamales are often served at our Christmases :) Also, I will be making chestnut stuffing like last year. The rest I’m not sure of, possibly ham.

I’ll probably have the usual daily fare, nothing special. And I’ll probably make a pumpkin pie.

Christmas breakfast is our big meal. We then snack through the day.

Maybe pizza or whatever stores are open for delivery. Or a whole rib roast if they are not sold out.

Living alone & with no family left, I have NO clue!!! My go to place on any holiday is Waffle House as they are open 24/7/365. Although NOT my preferred meal, it still beats going hungry!!! The 2nd shift cook can cook eggs & grits better than I can & they get paid to clean up behind me!!!
