I have not seen it, because it appears to be terrible, according to reviews.
I might pirate it, once it is released on vhs.

I had high hopes after watching the excellent movie trailer.

I had good memories watching the anime version many years ago and whatever satisfying emotional and visual impression I had then I hoped it to be replicated since Cameron was involved.

Cinematic technical quality was guaranteed to be top-notch but as I have also feared, the storytelling did fall short. The direction was adequate I guess but the scripting was surprisingly…inept.
