Do you ever scroll through the questions, and at first glance, think they are asking something else?

“Great Question” (0points)

A couple of days ago, I saw the Q “Do you like to toast?” And I was about to jump on there waxing poetic about buttered toast, French toast, and the joys of fresh strawberry jam, when I realized the Q was about proposing a toast with a glass of wine. D’oh!

Have any of you ever glanced at a Q and initially gotten it wrong? Have you ever actually posted an answer on a Q that you had read wrong, that you had to walk back, or that you didn’t even realize you had misread until days, or weeks later?

If you can think of some specific examples, that would be interesting too.

Sure. Or not always “wrong.” Some times I have to double check to be sure I just read what I thought I just read.
One of my favorites that caused me to do a double take: Do you ever have trouble calming down after committing murder?
