I’d tried to watch the debates, but fell asleep each time. I think there are too many candidates, and not enough realistic ideas. I do think Trump will be reelected. He just has like five talking points. That’s perfect for his base.
The dems need to get down to a few issues, that are important to liberals, and stick with them.
I have no interest in “we’ve got to get Trump out,” as a reason to vote. Yes. I view him as the worst POTUS ever, and certainly as an embarrassment to the world. But he was elected. If even by the worst people in the world.
The Republican strategy, is crystal clear. No abortions. No gay marriage. No brown people. Support white power. That’s what gets the right, out to vote. And it works well. The dems have too many issues (all important,) to unite a bunch of liberals. They need to simplify their strategy. The “we aren’t Trump” strategy, clearly doesn’t work.
Some of the dem’s ideas are great. But they haven’t provided realistic ways of accomplishing them. They are sticking with the “get Trump out” card.
IMO.A POTUS candidate, should have real plans, and abilities. Not just be the lesser of two evils. I like Elizabeth Warren. But, she too, has failed (so far) in justifying why I should vote for her…. Not that I plan to vote… Bernie has a way of getting me close, to really liking him. Then he leans too far left.
Trump’s talking points are just as stupid, and unrealistic. But his base is too stupid to get it. Sorry folks. As of now, we’re looking at a Trump victory in 2020….
