Double bass and harmonica

I wish I had any talent for piano. I can play it only in the most rudimentary way and I never took lessons. I’m always envious of people who can play the piano.

I also have a piano that I can’t play. What do I do about that? Nope!

Piano & nasal flute.

I’d love to be able to play the piano, such a beautiful sound when played expertly. So romantic too, I imagine me playing some classical piece to my wife as she sips a glass of wine by a log fire in a cabin by the woods.

I wish I had stuck with the violin and the Appalachian dulcimer. I can play them somewhat. But the guitar and the hammered dulcimer are two instruments I have but have never played, and either or both would be excellent.

Welll holy fuck. I was going to say drummer. So I went down the rabbit hole of trying to find the projectionist I used to be the boss of who was friends with my older sister and was a drummer for a punk band in Eugene in the mid90’s. I was friends with him too, we used to skate.

So I was trying to find a video of him drumming because he was my inspiration.. And I tried and have absolutely no rhythm.

But I was looking through old videos and found a still of a 15 year old me.

1:36 in.. I’m the kid in the back in the middle with the Obama ears and coat. My Grandpas corduroy coat. I loved it so much. The Drummer is the one with the big forehead.

I’ve been to a concert once which was all drums. I have new respect for its potential.
