@canidmajor That’s what we’re seeing…sshh!

No spoilers here, but you’ll enjoy it! :-D

Oh I’ve no doubt we will, be guessing til the end.
I’m normally quite good at picking out the culprit…we shall see!

About two weeks ago I saw the movie “Playing with Fire” which was a family movie. I saw it with my friend and my daughter.

I want to see the Mr. Rogers movie and the move about Richard Jewell.

The two theaters that I try to go to the most are ones where there are not usually a lot of loud kids and not a lot of trailers. Both are independently owned.

I get annoyed by the sounds of people chewing and by seeing people looking at their phones. The theaters I go to, people are usually well behaved.

Saw Jumanji 2 yesterday morning with my girlfriend and her developmentally disabled daughter.. fun movie for the holidays!

My GF’s realtor “bought” the theater as a customer appreciation event, so it was free for us.

@jca2 Usually people behave as they should when we go, one or two ignorant idiots rock up from time to time with their phones & constant chatter.
I remember one time this old bloke in the back row fell asleep & snored like an angry bull, that was so funny.

About a week ago I went to see “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” with my husband.
I love going to the cinema. It’s magical. Sitting at home is fine, but for movies I really want to see, the theater is the best.

ucme's avatar

@anniereborn That is a true fact!
Although I have to say, I miss the days as a kid when the girl with a torch led you to your seat & another served candy on a tray!

Went by myself to see “Ghost in the Shell.”

I bet you regret that.

A couple weeks ago, Frozen II.

jca2's avatar

@Coolhandluke: How was it?

Coolhandluke's avatar

@jca2 it was really good. I laughed and the kiddos had a good time.

chyna's avatar

@ucme How was the movie?
I saw Dark Waters this afternoon. It was good.

ucme's avatar

@chyna It was excellent, great fun!
I guessed “who” more or less straight away, but not for the reasons that later unfolded.
Fabulous cast & creative storytelling in a hard to pull off genre.
Right up there with the Agatha Christie classics in my humble opinion.
Cheers for asking madam!

canidmajor's avatar

@ucme That’s how we felt, too. It was fun to keep guessing as to circumstance til the end!

ucme's avatar

It was!
My daughter has seen it twice now & loves it.
One tiny thing for me though, I wish Christopher Plummer had more screen time, he’s a fine actor.
