Can you recommend a loom for manual finger weaving on Amazon.ca?

For fun. Not for resale. For yarn.

Also can you recommend any colored yarn from Amazon.ca? Preferably with a quick delivery time.

I would like to start with a small sized loom, and progress to a larger one as I get better.

My goal is to waste lots of time, and have something to show for it. Also to increase my finger dexterity from my broken hand in the past.

Maybe a beginners loom from one of these companies:
Schacht
Ashford
Kromski
Beka

Have you tried looking on Amazon yourself?

@Darth_Algar Yes. I will check an art supply store later this week that is reopening soon a block from my apartment.

I wonder if a small one could be made from a wooden picture frame and a bunch of finish nails?
Would that idea work for what you want to do?

@all I bought paper and pencil. I will draw zeros for awhile then look into weaving later.

@RedDeerGuy1 , Drawing zeros? Are you going to just fill a page with zeros? Here is an alternative that at least requires a little thought. Start writing all the numbers beginning with 1 and skip any that are twice as great as a number already included. The numbers will start out 1,3,4,5,7. You skip 2 and 6 because they are twice 1 and 3 respectively. 4 is included because it is twice 2, but 2 has been excluded. As a bonus, try to figure out what percentage of all numbers will be included. You will be writing all the odd numbers, so at least half of all numbers will be included. When you get tired of this, learning to use a loom does not seem like a bad idea.
