By “pass by”, do you mean ignore?

That’s a tougher question for me than it first appears. In fact I genuinely cannot recall what I will reject outright. There’s plenty that I can tell you I prefer, but unless I find the work particularly repulsive, I tend to forget the stuff to which I’m indifferent.

I tend not to linger over the medieval paintings or anything too modern and abstract, although I make exceptions in both categories.

There isn’t a specific artist I avoid, but there are specific styles that I find less interesting, like abstract expressionism. Abstract works have to really catch my eye for me to want to bother looking closely at them and reading about the work. If I see a wall of art that all looks very similar, I may ignore it. If I see something that looks “kitschy” I ignore it as well.

Most Pop Art and Abstract annoy me, but I’d take all @ucme‘s chubby chicks…haha!

Hey @KNOWITALL they’re definitely not mine!
Nowt wrong with a slightly overweight female body, just these type of paintings are not my bag.

@ucme I think they’re beautiful. You know fat was a sign of wealth back then. True story.

@KNOWITALL Well then you’d imagine they could afford clothes LOL
Put something on dear, you’ll catch your death…

Christy Brown.

Ya, ya… I know he has an inspirational story, but his work has no appeal for me.
