Back when I was quarantined on the Grand Princess, and later on Travis Air Force Base, we were told by Princess (parent company Carnival) that our cruise costs would be refunded, including extra costs incurred due to our extended stay.
They have now denied the extra charges we incurred by our cell phone usage, my friends substantial charges for boarding their dogs for 2½ additional weeks (which ran about $2,100), and decreased the future cruise credit we were told we’d receive by nearly $500.
If anyone thinks they are trying to treat those who were quarantined fairly, you’re wrong.
