I know that a company called ‘I Can’t Believe it’s Yogurt’ came out in 1977, followed by TCBY (originally ‘This Can’t Be Yogurt, later, The Country’s Best Yogurt) in 1981. And I remember two independent frozen soft-serve yogurt places in my town that were open briefly in the fall of 1977 through about a year later.

Does anyone remember soft-serve frozen yogurt before 1977, or have any knowledge of it?
