Your link just brings me to my Facebook log-in. Got a better one?

@janbb I think you need to have a FB session going on your computer, may not work for mobile.

#thenandnow brings me to a lot of Indian pages and groups on FB. It must be popular in India. It seems to be old photos and showing what they look like now.

You choose your display format after uploading.

You can also click on someones frame, it says Try It!

Ah, now your link worked for me but I don’t know the answer. I suspect it’s photoshopping of some kind – not that that helps.

What exactly are we looking for?

So..what is your question? It’s professional (or not) photoshopping.

@Dutchess_III
Using what techniques / software that allows overlap .

Take a look at Adobe Photoshop and see what they enable. My guess it is something like that.

Here you go:

https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/features.html#step-by-step

It doesn’t specify “now and then” specifically but it’s clear that you can isolate an element from one photo and combine it with another in Adobe.

Photoshop.

@janbb
I checked out the link that you shared and it may be the “Double Exposure ” technique” that

is used since cut and paste would not overlap such as having the arm/hand on the shoulder of the after image as well.

I suppose that is the best so far to use to create a seamless and ‘not” pasted look.

Thanks for the link and your time to help me solve this dilemma.

I appreciate it.

Looking at the list of techniques again, I would say it is “photo merge” that looks like the feature that would do what you want.

@janbb
photo merge…ok thanks for clarifying that for me.
