I am on my second Keurig. The first one lasted 5 years, and this one is on its 6th year.

I use the 4/5 cup icon for my mugs. Usually two cups per day from the same K-cup, meaning that the second cup is somewhat less strong, which is OK with me.

I am not a coffee maven, I buy cheap K-cups in bulk (100–120/box).

For my needs, this works well.

Wife has a Keurig upstairs in her office, downstairs in kitchen two different size “Mr Coffee” drip coffee makers and cold brew French Press (put coffee & water in it overnight in Frig then press in morning).

I have a cheap Mr Coffee drip with a timer, I love it. I have a reusable filter for it. Over the years, I have found that the quality of the coffee has a lot more to do with the type of grounds and the cleanliness of the equipment than anything else.

Although, sometimes using the camp coffee pot on the stovetop is just so satisfying, with the sound of perking. :-)

I don’t drink coffee, but I do drink hot chocolate. I have a one cup Keurig machine that I either use the k cups in, or just heat a cup of water for the cans of hot chocolate I have on hand. Yes, I could use the microwave to heat the water, but I can never get it just right. It’s either too hot or just luke warm. The Keurig heats it just as I like.

Right now, a “BLACK+DECKER” but will go back to a Braun next time. (I use my coffee maker to make tea.)

I make coffee by pouring 202-degree F water on top of grounds in a filter sitting on an hourglass-shaped pour-over coffee maker, whose brand I don’t know, but also doesn’t matter because it’s just a piece of glass.

Mr. Coffee. But as long as I have my morning coffee it really doesn’t matter to me. Any old coffee maker will do.

Nespresso

Uses pods of a variety of Italian coffee to make espresso, cappuccino and iced coffees.

Super yummy. I love it.

A Bialetti Moka pot, and a cheap Amazon electric grinder.

I got a nice 2-quart Takeya cold brew pitcher with filter from Amazon for $20 on sale. If you are interested, look at the Takeya iced tea maker also. It is the same thing, but often cheaper. The cold brew is a concentrate – I dilute it about 1:2 or 1:1 with boiling water.

For a drip maker, I long ago settled on makers with metal insulated carafes. It doesn’t break ike glass and the insulated pot keeps coffee hot without baking it on the hot plate.

I have a nice Cuisinart model but would go for anything with the insulated pot.

I currently have 3 coffeemakers in service…a Mr. Coffee 5-pot drip unit, a Krups 6-oz. capacity espresso maker and a Black & Decker single cup drip machine that can can take a K-cup or regular ground coffee.

I should say, we have two other coffee makers that I don’t use.

A Kuerig that nobody really uses and a Black & Decker drip my wife uses.

I have a Nespresso.

I have a Cuisinart 12 cup with a K Cup attachment.

When I was commuting, I would get a pot of coffee ready to go at bedtime so it would be fresh when my alarm went off. Since work from home, my wake up time differs day to day, so I just make a K cup when I get up.

(I have a Chemex pour over setup for when the power goes out).

@Caravanfan: Which Nespresso coffees do you like?

I’ve tried all of them by now, I believe, love my coffee.

My favorite was the Cuisinart Grind N Brew, but it didn’t last any longer than cheapies.

Since I’m a daily or twice daily drinker of the magic beans, I now have a $40 Black & Decker, basically just for the timer.

I don’t drink coffee at home (once in a blue moon I might have a cup when I’m eating at a diner), but I have some el cheapo coffee maker (don’t even recall the brand, something that you get for like $20 at Walmart) that I use for heating water or for brewing a pot of tea.

@cookieman Any of the non-flavored ones are fine.

I call it a teakettle and instant Taster’s Choice. However I am looking at a grind and brew personal size coffeemaker by Krups. Makes 4 cups. Just right for me.

We have a Keurig. We gave it to my daughter a few years back, but she drinks so much coffee, it wasn’t practical. I drink one cup a day, my wife two.
We use Donut Shop inserts.

We have a Bunn. (Restaurant style, without the top burners.) Coffee is Tim Hortons when we have it around. Folger’s or Maxwell House most of the time.

I don’t drink coffee, but my husband does.

We have a Keurig. We use the reusable filters and buy loose grounds. My husband does 14 ounces I think for his morning coffee. 9 and 5 through the one set of grounds.

We buy Starbucks French or Italian roast usually. Only on sale.

Sometimes Maxwell House (I think we buy Bold).

Cafe Bustello in the brick.

I used to buy Dunkin Donuts when it was on sale, but I haven’t in many months.

Once in a while we try a new brand that’s on sale.

@Caravanfan: My wife likes non-flavored ones when she drinks it (usually a cappuccino). I like making iced coffee out of the Hazellino.
