I have Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, and Apple TV+. I only pay for Disney+ because the other three are included in other services I pay for anyway.
I have found some good stuff on Netflix, but frankly their interface is terrible and poorly organized so I do not like surfing around there. I usually use the search feature to find something I have heard or read about.
Same issue with Amazon Prime. If I hear good things, I’ll go search for it there.
So far, I have only used Peacock to binge watch old shows (Carol Burnett Show, Law & Order).
Disney+ and Apple TV+ have the best user interface by far and they are very easy to navigate around and find stuff. That said, they both have the least amount of new content of the bunch.
Sure you could watch every Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and National Geographic movie/show ever if you want, but there is very little new stuff – YET. Just yesterday they announced a truckload of new content over the next few years.
Unlike Disney+, Apple TV+ has no back catalog •and* very little new content. That said, most of the content they do have is very good. I really liked Defending Jacob, See, For All Mankind, and the Morning Show. Next up, I want to watch Greyhound, On the Rocks, and Tehran.
If I had to pay for all straight outta pocket (and I might eventually), based on my tastes, I would probably only keep Disney+ and Netflix. Maybe Apple TV+ once they get more content in there.
