Scrooge (the musical) with Albert Finney (1970) [your no. 6] is my all time favorite.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is number 2.

Then the one with George C. Scott.

I haven’t seen or don’t like the others.

Scrooge (1951) with Alastair Sim.
That is the only one I need.

The one in Dr. Who.

I emphatically agree with @anniereborn.

Scrooged (1988) is my number one.

I’m surprised a lot of people only prefer to watch the Alastair Sim version. I absolutely love it, but I definitely think other versions are better in some other ways. The Muppet Christmas Carol for example has the best graveyard scene with the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come, in my opinion

“A lot” meaning two?

Should have clarified, I asked this same question on a TCM fan group and most, if not all, prefer the Alastair Sim version during Christmas. Plus my friends and family feel the same way too

And surprisingly, it doesn’t have the famous line:

“If I could work my will, every idiot who goes about with ‘Merry Christmas’ on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart.”

Muppets for me. My Dad and I loved watching all things Muppet (yeah, as adults, everybody else made fun of us) so I love the Muppets version at Christmas to remind me of my Dad.

George C. Scott as Scrooge is my fave. Like that actor’s hoarse voice.
