My favorite is chicken soup. Just chicken soup with either rice or pasta in it, and carrots, celery and onions. It’s easy to make but is a staple at diners and many restaurants.
I like hot and sour soup when it’s made right, meaning, sour.
Panera has a good butternut squash soup. They also have a good cheddar broccoli soup, although I try to avoid it because it’s probably loaded with salt.
