Tell us what would be a reason to immigrate to another country?

“Great Question” (4points)

I just watched a Wal-Mart USA grocery haul on YouTube, and I am impressed with the variety of junk food.

What is appealing to you that another country has?

Not looking for negative reasons to leave your country. Only positive ones for immigrating to.

Climate, scenery and culture over politics. I would love to live in the Canadian Maritime (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island) or Newfoundland, even though I am probably more conservative than most Canadians.

We have the Appalachian mountain chain here in the States, and we have oceans. But in eastern Canada, the Appalachians run to the coast and form several island provinces. You can’t get a better combination than Appalachia and the Coast.

—Secure retirement (a cheap place to live)
—Climate – Not too hot. I love snow but I don’t need snow
—Scenery – a view of mountains or ocean or Great Lakes
Germanic or Romance language (though I would give South Asia or East Asia a try if living was cheap enough).

Culture compatibility.

Some people are just incompatible with their own culture and find other cultures a better fit for them.
