Here is a simple but useful book that talks about the elements:
Lift the flap Periodic table
It is for kids but has the answers to your questions. Maybe you can get it at the library.

It will also tell you the ones that will make you sick.

The last few have half-lives in the minute or millisecond range. If you were able to order them from Amazon, there would not be much left by the time the package arrived.

Off the top of my head, you probably should steer clear of any of the radioactive ones (84+ as well as 43 and 61). And I’d avoid the ones that are toxic in their elemental forms (9, 17, 33, 35, 80, 81, 82, and probably others that I can’t think of). And if somehow you obtain 55 or 37, just keep them away from water.

Me, I’d like a lot of 78 and 79 myself…

As far as toxicity – all of them really. Even the ones that you absolutely need to sustain life (such as oxygen, hydrogen, sodium, potassium) will kill you in too high amounts.

That book details which ones are toxic, which ones go boom etc.
My grandson is now afraid of them all. :-)

If you are looking to collect radioactive elements you can find them in unusual places.
Smoke detectors have Americium-241 or Radium-226
Propane gas-light mantles have Thorium 232
Old orange Fiesta ware dishes contain Uranium-238, Thorium-234, Protactinium-234, Uranium-234.

With a small, solid-state Geiger counter you can walk around in your neighborhood Good Will and find donated goods from 50s and 60s that are still radioactive.
For a few bucks you can have quite a collection.
Probably not the best thing to have around the house but still….
