Did you ever own a vehicle in which you would love to have a mint-condition 'Like New' one today?

I often wonder why auto manufacturers mess around with perfection. Because every now and then, we find the perfect car—only to have it wear out in about ten years to where maintenance becomes more expensive than just getting a new car altogether.

Maybe we can find something else that is perfection. But I’d really like to have a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (My family bought a new one the summer I was twelve) or a 1993 teal Toyota Corolla (the first new car I ever owned that didn’t look, feel, or ride like a piece of economy junk)—if in mint condition or like new.

Why can’t these great cars from our past still be manufactured and available to us?
