@elbanditoroso I think maybe being in the same mental and physical form of your subject could definately have benefits in writing erotica.

I read quite a bit and have a small collection, only one is written by a male. Women seem to stay within a certain mental boundary, even in erotica.
Anais Nin is one of my favorites.

Well, most of Yaoi fanfiction is thought to be made by women, so there is that.

I think it would probably require the author to have done extensive reading of works written by women in the genre. If so, I think a good author could pull it off, after all “good artists copy, great artists steal.”

I don’t think so. It would be written from a man’s perspective….and fantasy….of what lesbians are all about.

I don’t know. But it seems to me that I have as many erotic fantasies about women as any lesbian around. I was thinking that a man might write lesbian erotica that other men at least might find fun reading. But now that I think about it, compared to the women I know, men just don’t read any fiction.

Why not? Men love women and their bodies. Lesbians love women and their bodies. It’s not such a stretch to think that men could write excellent erotica for lesbians.

Of course, dudes will create female characters that resemble supermodels…
