I have a couple of friends who routinely gush about Joe Biden’s presidency and today I mentioned to them “Well, I really hope Biden pulls troops out of Afghanistan on September 11th.”

Their eyes glazed over and they looked slightly exasperated, as if I asked them to do a chore. They proceeded to talk about how much of a decent human being he is.
