Do I get to pick the resting place?

No.
Because that is a given regardless of options given.
I believe that souls live on after the body passes.
To another dimension, another consciousness, or Spiritual realm , whatever.
It would be like a prison sentence to live on earth as a Ghost and NOT experience another type of life, as we on earth are supposed to learn .

As opposed to what? What is the choice? Stick around or go where else?

Well, I’ve always told my husband if I die and he feels something kicking the bed when he’s with another women that it is me haunting him.

I have no idea what I would do. I think most likely if heaven is a fabulous and I get a peak before deciding I’ll probably just go to heaven, but it will be hard leaving my husband if I die first.

In reality I think it’s most likely we die and we’re gone and that’s it.

If the only other options are hanging out with Jesus Groupies on some dumb cloud, or roasting in Hades, I pick your option. I don’t care who makes the offer, I’m game. And anything beats being reincarnated. I don’t want to have to go thru all this crap again. One go round is enough for this guy.
