I had different color elastics when I had braces in the 1900s. Not much difference with colored power chains. The big thing to avoid is getting some that look like you have food stuck in your teeth.

Is that colored braces? Never heard of a “color power chain” but I have seen colored braces. To me, they’re like any trend. Some people may like them, some may like traditional silver. To each his own.

Sure, but it’s probably a better look for a girl/young woman. When older women try to look like teenagers, it usually comes off as ridiculous.
