Do you have any Art skills.
I see university Fine art students who probably graduated recently or in the last two years are now making “How to draw ( watercolor, Acrylic painting and so on) while others have videos on crafts or how to grow any plant and film the stages .
Anything tht you want ot know how to do is on youtube now and not all are experts.

Take an ad in the classifieds saying you will do odd jobs. such as cleaning out garages or yard work.

Mow lawns.
Paper round.
Walk dogs.
Sit cats/babies.

Something is wrong with your question. Where I live, practically every store and every restaurant has Help wanted signs out. There are definitely tons of places to work.

So let’s ask some obvious questions that are feeding into your issues:

1) how old are you?
2) do you have transportation?
3) do you any work history? Have you ever had a job?
4) what skills do you have?
5) have you ever been fired from a previous job?

Etc.

Details matter.

Keep looking for that job. I find it hard to believe you just can’t find one. Maybe you’re being too picky about where or how many hours you’re willing to work. Really, there are few better ways to get money than a steady paycheck. Uber might kinda work, if you like the flexibility more than the pay.

Wait at your local homeless shelter around 9am, or whatever time, and get hired as a day labourer.

I have a background and no experience that’s y I’m having trouble.

As far as being picky about hours I have to be to a degree because I’m on disability. I do the wonolo job app now that I live in an area that has availability

This will probably take time, but I’ve received many job offers by doing volunteer work. My future empooyers get to know me, see my work ethic, how well I work with others, how honest I am, etc. This either gives me work experience for a job offer elsewhere, or the people who run the volunteer center have hired me.

Good luck. Sorry about being a little presumtuous about your situation. Unfortunately, sometimes people who are “difficult” hires do end up looking around a lot, because those who hire just perceive the complications around that person to be not worth hiring. That said, I’ve worked in plenty of places where people with physical and developmental disabilities have found a job for themselves. Most of the time, it seemed like the employee and the hiring manager were friendly with each other. Snowberry is right thay is may be necessary to volunteer or do something else that gets your foot in the door. I think sometimes disability programs will pay a business to hire you for awhile, which is worth looking in to.
