You can interpret any religious text as depicting aliens.
Parting the Red Sea? Tractor beam.
Killing Egypt’s first born sons? Bioweapon.
Burning bush on a mountain? Hologram.
Star of Betlehem? Alien spaceship.
Jesus? Alien-human hybrid implanted into a witless victim.
Walking on water? Antigravity.
Healing the sick and raising the dead? Alien medical technology.
Multiplying fish and turning water into wine? Replicator technology.

Read the book “In Search of Ancient Astronauts” by Eric Von Daniken. (I don’t know if I spelled his name right.) That should give you some clue.

It is actually Erich von Däniken, but that is the original German spelling, not used in English because of the umlaut and the lower case von. The word von goes in lower case because it is a preposition—even if it is part of a proper name. However, in Dutch the same preposition Van is capitalized in proper nouns. Languages are fascinanting!

EVD was hands down my favorite author to read when I was 14 years old. I had a couple of his books and would read them back and forth. It opened my eyes and revealed a world that I had not imagined until then. It all started to make sense and I could never see religion from the same angle after that. I was that girl that would talk about it to whoever wanted to listen, but because I went to Catholic School my parents advised me to stop talking about it to avoid getting in trouble. His ideas fascinate me up to this day and I’ve watched every documentary and interview I could get my hands on. His findings and ideas have been debunked by most in the scientific community, but that didn’t deter us diehard fans, as a matter of fact, I think his fan base is ever-growing. It is a fascinating topic.

@Yeahright And yet one’s eyes can be opened to so many possibilities. A reading of EVD can’t hurt. (And I didn’t say if reading his book(s) would answer any questions. I said it might give a clue.)

^ It answered many questions to me, up to this day. It will give believers and non-believers alike food for thought. You cannot validate your beliefs until you are exposed to a variety of views. After extensive reading, our views—what ever they might be—would become stronger and clearer or doubts and questions will overtake.

The vimana are flying machines described in Sanskrit epics and Hindu texts. Some are owned be princes or kings. Others come from other worlds.
