Whenever you have something in the form y=f(x), the possible values for x is the domain, and the possible values for y is the range. In your case of X(n), the domain is the possible values of n. Since a polygon must have at least 3 sides and there is no upper bound, the domain is the set of all integers greater than or equal to 3.
