I have no idea about the game, but it sounds as if it is a good plan to park your morals while gaming.
And maybe prepare to hearing foul language (and/or prepare to use it yourself too)?

For a second I thought you were talking about the actual life of a thug (often more properly spelled “thug lyfe”). Not that I would know anything about that… ;)

If I can figure it out. All I play are historical strategy games. Not familiar with Thug Life. If I play, it will be on condition that if I win, she’ll have to play me on online game of “Gettysburg” or “Antietam”.

If it’s a FB game, it’s probably one of those terrible games like Sorority Life, where you have a character who is a cut-out doll who collects clothes and accessories, except instead of hand bags and cell phones you probably collect guns and knives, and then you’ll have repetitive “tasks” to do by clicking on things that mean your character is doing things (probably mostly crimes) that will generate money and other types of points for you. Sooner or later you will notice that it is not really much of a game at all, but designed to addict you to showing up daily and clicking on things and trying to get other FB people to become your “friend” (they probably call it a gang instead or something) and then sending “gifts” to them. They’ll have daily incentives to get you to keep returning each day. But the game will be pretty empty and meaningless.

Update: Got lucky, she posted that friends had been trying to get her to play, and she had no idea how it got posted on her FaceBook timeline. So now I don’t have to feel obligated to play the stupid thing. Sometimes you do stuff for family that you could really care less about. Thanks to all for the input.
