Shampoo with a purple shampoo that restores it to correct color ( grey/white) to match the rest of your hair.

I have stopped dying my hair blonde as the costs are never ending, insteadI accepted the

grey comming in ( only on top part of my head) so recently I had my hair streaked dark

brown/black to match that part of my hair that is still growing.

I then had washed my hair with purple shampoo to blend in the grey as more is coming in.

At least it looks fantastic instead of brassy and unbecomming.

It looks like all silver hair with natural dark streaks and no costs thereafter except for the

shapoo and conditioner .

I see that many younger women have” dyed” there hair silver, grey or charcoal grey as well.

Think “Game of Thrones” series with the female star who had silver hair as this became the

trend lately.

I read an article some time ago that melanin deficiencies due to stress, or medication, or lack of vitamin B12 can cause premature graying temporarily. So when you see a hair growing back to it’s the original color that it just means that one or some of those factors isn’t a problem and some hairs may gain it color back but will probably turn white again, sooner than later. We do create only a certain amount of melanin as dictated by our DNA, so when that factory is shut down, then your hair will just go white and there is no bringing it back unless it’s by Clairol. The same thing happened to me. My hair was getting only really white hairs then some turned grey and some black and then it went back to a mix of white and black, which I hate. I liked it better when it was all white. Now it just looks dirty. I want it all white again.
By the way, I know plenty of people who started turning grey after the whole covid fiasco of 2020 and still turning grey. So I think stress plays a big role, but it could be that I know mostly people over 50 so it’s just bound to happen.

Comedian Steve Martin had early gray hair. He once told an interviewer that it began showing color again when he started taking vitamins. He stopped, because he understood that was part of his look now.
