The five year old girl, that’s gone missing in Tennessee, the 15th of June?

In your mind, what is the most likely scenario of what happened that day?

Dunno. The story seems odd. She is outside planting flowers with mom and grandma, then decides to go inside. She tells her brothers she wants to play with her toys in the basement. And she is never seen again.
The idea that she was lured out of the house and kidnapped her seems off since there were other family members around, apparently. How do you get the attention of a 5 year old in the basement and get her to come out without the mom and grandma seeing/hearing when they are right outside and without her brothers who are in the house seeing/hearing her leave. And how do you know there is even a 5 year old girl in the basement?
I’m going with an inside job…possibly family, maybe friend of the family.

Seems odd that her head was shaved. Her father said it’s because he and his sons shave their heads and she wanted hers shaved. But the picture of the dad shows he has a full head of hair. Also, another article said an older 34 year old brother had a criminal record due to sex related crimes. I don’t know if that’s true.
It’s all very bizarre.

Also weird is that the mother’s sister has been missing since 2009.

Summer Wells’ three brothers were removed from the Wells’ household by the Department of Child Services, according to a new report.

They’re from a pretty backwoods area, she could be anywhere and they’ll probably never find her. I feel safer in a bad part of Atlanta after dark than I do in some of those remote areas to be honest. Often there is no cellular service for miles and it’s just not advised for “outsiders” to be there. Poverty, crime and drug use is rampant in that part of the region. Most people can sense something is not right with this and doubt she was kidnapped.

Yes, I’ve followed that off and on. My best guesses are that either someone within their group killed her, or they needed money and sold her. So freakin’ sad. I loved the picture of her where she’s thrusting her face into the camera and grinning so big.

@Blackwater_Park I used to live in TN and frequently rode around in the backwoods and mountain areas with my boyfriend. He knew areas not to go into. Yeah, there are definitely areas you don’t want to be in. Lots of places in the south are like that – think West Virginia coal country. People will shoot you just for being there.
