I’ve never heard of it but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be done if someone were willing to pay for it. Ine problem is that there is really no way to evaluate a pet’s vision until they are totally blind.
I don’t know how you could get a pet to focus it’s sight on a specific point in space so that the surgery could be done.
