Anybody here with parosmia? Is it worth a doctor visit?

Things like pork, chicken, turkey, cheddar, salty foods, etc.. just taste NASTY to me! Like a lot of foods have a nasty taste to them. Certain smells are overpowering and make me want to throw up, and this is all new within a week or two. I had McDonalds chicken nuggets, which I have had a lot. Same nasty taste that has NEVER been there. Thanksgiving turkey—just horrible after taste. No one else agreed with me, it was just me.

It’s hard to explain the taste. Almost like rotting food. I am really struggling with eating, because so many things have this taste to them and they never did before.

I was at work, and the chicken and gravy I was making plus the hash browns (uncooked and cooked) smelled horrible too. And I checked dates and everything, it was fine.

I had mashed potatoes and gravy, and I have it from this place a lot. It’s not a new recipe or anything (I had it at work so I would know, we make it here) and it was SO salty I couldn’t finish it. No one said they had the same experience. It’s just me.

Is it worth a trip to the doctor? Can they even do anything??
Google says it’s Parosmia. But I can’t find much for treatment.
I am always hungry and eating and drinking is really hard for me… This sucks.
