I think the World Bank is part of the attempt by extremely-monied interests to dominate the world economy and keep “3rd world” countries in perpetual debt to the World Bank in exchange for infrastructure development loans that were designed to trick them out of their natural resources and to hold that debt over them for ongoing leverage.

It’s a way to whitewash corporate imperialism.
