Whenever my dog pees, it comes out like one of the sprinklers that go ” ch ch ch ch ch”. He doesn’t seem to be in pain but should I take him to the vet?

I’d automatically say yes but I’m not a vet. My dogs have streams. I think we have a vet tech here, hopefully she see’s this soon. :)

Yes.

Why not try calling the vet first and describing the condition? They ought to be able to tell you if it’s a matter of concern and the dog should be seen.

Seems like this would be appropriate to ask in Reddit – Pet care.

Yes seems to be the best answer, or at least a call to ask. I guess especially if it seems to be every time. Best wishes.

Call the vet first and then take you dog in.

Some dogs can handle a great deal of pain before whimpering. I would take my dog to the vet ot make sure the dog doesn’t have some sort of bladder infection.

Although the problem does not appear to be serious on the face of it but you cannot be sure whether your pet is in pain or uncomfortable.

He obviously has a problem and he should be taken to the vet in order for an examination can take place so a diagnosis can be made.

Once that has been done the vet will be able to treat your dog for the condition he has.

Check all her Qs. She’s just looking for sympathy or trolling us. In one she was asking if her cat should be put down. Now should her dog go to a vet. Several ask—my throat is itchy, should I tell my doctor before going in

@SEKA: Good point. There were two questions asking about a dog who had a choke collar on. One question was deleted but still….....
