I’m not familiar with Shaw Academy so no opinion about them. Alison has been around for years. I’ve found them just so-so depending on what I’m trying to learn. The last time I used Alison, it was free and you get what you pay for in most instances. Most of the decent, accredited educational platforms are going to charge you for their services. There are some online high school and college platforms but I don’t remember the names right this second. So keep researching until you find what you’re looking for. Whatever you do, even when losing hope, never stop looking for what you need. It’s out there waiting on you to find it

Also, you didn’t give us much info on what you’re trying to learn so we could throw out many names of platforms for you and none would be what you need

You might consier approaching this from a different angle. Instead of finding a platform and then looking to see if it is accredited or reputable, find respected, reputable, accredited schools that also have an online facility.

We use Acellus Academy (AcellusAcademy.com). It’s awesome! Check your state, though. While it is fully K-12 accredited, some state don’t recognize that and consider it home schooling. It’s affordable, and far better than any public school bar none.

@zenvelo‘s approach is a better one. See what the “real” universities in your country offer in terms of remote learning and online courses. You will get a better degree that way.
