Is there anyone else out there who is unlovable and has been rejected by others consistently since they were little? How do you deal with being alone and knowing you will die alone? Are you able to stay happy? How?

Sounds like you are requiring others to validate your life and your happiness. I used to do that and was miserable. Now I am happy. I started worrying about me…what I did, what I said, etc were all geared towards making me feel good inside. What others thought of me became less important. And a funny thing happened: the more I made myself happy and content, the more people liked and admired me, apparently. I would suggest seeking some professional help to work through some of the issues you have with trying to find your self-esteem.

Yes, and am content with that, at least.

One has a choice as to whom they engage with and sometimes the wrong person or type of persons are around you it has nothing to do with being unlovable.

Everyone is lovable by one or more persons in their life.
( example: Mother/Father/ or Grandparents generally are more accepting)

Change environment,or friends, groups that you love and can have a positive feeling.

Go where you feel the most positve for you and thus same for others.

Yes I agree love yourself in tht you will do for yourself that you need to feel loved.

Sometimes volunteering for a Hospital for sick children or a center for abused animals might uplift one to realize that you are in a position to experience love from them in return.

I’m very lovable. It’s just that few know it.

My mum and cat love me, and that’s all that matters. Especially my cat.

No one is unlovable. Minus the Hitler’s, Stalin’s, and Pol Pots of the world. I doubt you fall into those categories.

I wouldn’t say I’m unlovable. Most that take the time to know me, love me. I’m just not in love with anyone. I’m in general very much a loner, but that doesn’t mean I’m not happy. I am just me.
