Are you seeing a run on toilet paper again already?

Or maybe it was just a coincidence that the shelves were so low stocked at the supermarket today?

Whatever is going on in Ukraine and Russia, I don’t think household paper products are threatened…are they?

I also noted a very long line for gas at the nearest Costco. I could make sense of this…but TP?

“A run on toilet paper.” LOL
I haven’t noticed it in my area.

Not here. Stores online have been stacking up on paper towel’s.

No not really. Gas is another issue. But I feel the oil companies will take any excuse they can find to raise prices and blame someone or something else. The Arab nations excuse has run out of steam.

Now I wonder if my country exports toilet paper…

Haven’t noticed it. Then again, I’ve been getting my TP through Amazon’s Subscribe and Save where it’s delivered to my door. No mad dash to the store only to see empty shelves. No panic buying. And so far, no missed deliveries. The seller knows in advance exactly how much they need to supply the upcoming orders and it’s those not on the S and S plan that gets cut off as unavailable. I keep my paper towel use to a minimum opting to use cloth dish cloths and towels. Things are going to get tight if not tighter, but I’ve been pinching back for years now.

No t p or p t shortages here, but tthe lines at the Costco filling stations are truly phenomenal. You have to give the chain credit for the most efficient and rapidly moving self service operation I have yet to encounter. And the prices for all grades are reliably (and substantially) lower than the competition. Gas at other outlets now hovers at anywhere between $5.50 and $6 a gallon for regular with some places gouging the suckers at better than 7 bucks. aAnyone compelled to commute any distance on a regular basis might just as well rollover and die. To further soak motorists, the tolls on the major bridges now are 7 bucks a pop with the Golden Gate bridge at $8.50.
