“Great Question” (2points)

A house, a car, a degree, a really good burger?

What was the best value for your money ever?

Mine is a General Electric clock/radio from 1986 for $19.99, of my own money, that I am still using.

My house. Bought in 1992 and now worth five times what we paid for it.

The Louisiana Purchase has to rank among the all time best deals.

Personally, the best deal I made was the purchase of Apple stock way back when Steve Jobs returned to the company. For a cost of a few thousand dollars, I have about enough to retire on.

I just got free parking because I couldn’t find my ticket.

For me, it was a lightbulb that I bought in 1997 for $2.39 that didn’t burn out until 2019. It only cost me 10ยข a year to light my hallway (IF you don’t count the cost of the electricity)

@Brian1946 You were lucky. Here they charge for their maximum fee for the day which is $15–18/day. They want to discourage any and all free parking

$3.00 four wicker baskets 5 to six inches in diameter and a copper round thing 14 inches in diameter, looked like a pie plate, at a garage sale. “Pie plate” when cleaned said Hudson Bay Limited, it was a gold pan for using Mercury to gather fine Gold. Valued at $50.00 to $75.
