If you have ever bought a brand new vehicle, when did you stop thinking of it as new?

“Great Question” (2points)

I bought my truck in 2017 and it’s off warranty this August and I still think of it as new.
Do others think this as well?
You still consider your 5 year old vehicle that you bought new, is still new five years later?

After six months or so.

When my son borrowed it and broke the trunk latch, put a deep scratch on the dashboard upholstery, and chipped the paint on the roof.

This was the first and only car I’d ever bought new, and at that time I’d had it for two years. It still felt fresh and special to me. After that, no.

No more lending, either.

Each car is new until I get the next one, usually after a decade. My latest new car is a 2015.

About a year.

About a year or year and a half.

My cars stay looking like new for years though. My husband is a car fanatic and neither of us eat or drink in our cars except on rare occasion.
