Is there some way to put lotion on my back?

I have bad shoulders, and even if they were good I wouldn’t be able to reach my entire back. My skin is very dry and my back has been itching like crazy.

I know I can buy a back scratcher, but also I’d like to put on some moisturizer.

Is there some sort of gadget that can help?

Yes. I asked this a while back and got good suggestions. Let me see if I can find it.

. . .

Ok, I’m not finding the question. But I think I found the item: applicator on a stick.

Oh, and by the way, I bought the one with the long stick first, thinking it would give better reach, but it was too long. The item was inexpensive, so I went ahead and bought another with a shorter handle that did not reach past my back.

It’s important to put the lotion on the skin, or else you get the hose again.

I have the exact one that @Jeruba shows. It works perfectly. I recommend it.

I think that what @Jeruba has will work perfectly. From the looks of it, it seem pretty good to me.

I use a lotion applicator. I just noticed Jeruba listed the link to the one I own. I have two and have had them for years.

Another way is to get moistuerized bath lotion and haver a nice bath in it.
