I definitely do not have that hairstyle. That may be why I’m not an accountant – but there could be other reasons.

I guess I’ve got amatuer model hair, maybe paralegal hair or real estate agent hair, but most likely bartender hair. So much career impact. And I thought it was just a fashion thing…

Maybe sort of, after it’s cut, just because that’s what short hair is (no?) . . . except my hair generally curls, and I tend not to cut it for 6 to 9 months at a time . . .

I’ve been an accountant for a l-o-n-g time, and here’s how I describe every male colleague from over the years: eyeglasses, no facial hair, button-down shirt with a tie, and, yes, that haircut mentioned by @RedDeerGuy1.

The ladies have no uniform “look;” they’re individuals with their own choices in hairstyles, makeup, and clothing.

I think mine has morphed toward that, but I think it is because mens hairstyles have moved that way in general.
I started out as a David Cassidy center part over the ears and shoulder length back in the 70’s-80’s. I skipped right by the mullet.era.
I then moved to a shorter Doug Flutie style that was side parted, over the ear but tighter in back in the 80’s to 90’s.
2000 on has moved to tighter on sides and back but still layered on top.

I never had a Superman curl.
