I have seen some on wired keyboards, on the side. But that always seemed odd to me because the wire could get in your way.
I’ve seen them on the tops and sides of screens, too. I have seen USB ports on screens too, (again, side or rear) but that placement also seems silly to me.
The problem with bluetooth is that you have to recharge the headset all the time.
And by the way some have it at the bottom that is not where it’s visible, but bottom meaning where you need to use a mirror, to put underneath it to find the On/Off key, and the USB ports!! @elbanditoroso so where is best for you? @Samantha4One So, it’s not on the keyboard, Is it on the monitor? (The _unit system_mean the keyboard for example, included?
I was rushing and I run out of editing time (The unit system means the keyboard for example, included, am I right?) What could be other component to the unit system.
@chefl I said system unit (not unit system), it’s the box where all the pc components are, like motherboard, cpu, ram, power supply, it’s also called pc cabinet.
My earphone jacks and additional usb ports are in front of this system unit. So it’s easy to access them.
Earphone Headphone mini phono jack is something of a dinosaur today. Most good audio output would be USB, or Bluetooth.
But if I had to design a tower, I would put one on the front and one on the back. For a laptop, I would put it on the side.
I find towers very rare to see, for a while now. Phone jacks and USBs are on every monitor I’ve come across, and I come across a lot. They’re mostly on the side.
