Back in the late 60’s, one of our most favorite jocks went to a party & got shit faced drunk. Not believing that farts were gassy. He waited until he felt a BIG fart coming on & he dropped his pants, lit a cigarette lighter, & set his ass on fire!!! This was well before we had burn centers, so he was stuck in a hospital ward until everything could get back to resembling normal!!!

This blunder was an excellent lesson on WHY you should NEVER light a fart!!! PLUS, his followers learned just how stupid he really was!!! He was the class joke for years to come!!!

Well, not like cows. The methane comes from the huge amount of grass they eat.

They are all methane. There is no way to mix any other gas with it in the intestinal tract.

The average times a person passes gas in a day is 15.

When a co-worker told me this, I couldn’t believe it. Surely, that is way too much. No one in my family ever tooted that much in a week, much less in a day.

I called my siblings to ask. It moved on to what they called passing gas now that they were married and had children. Each family had a different name for it, yet it didn’t occur multiple times a day.

^^ I don’t consider 15 farts a day to be considered multiple. That’s an average of 1 every hour & 36 minutes & I consider that to be possibly fatal!!! I don’t go to the doctor except for emergencies & I’d take myself to the emergency room IF I was farting that often!!!

Here it is over 50 years later & he is no longer with us, but I still laugh when I remember the look on his face when he realized that it did indeed light!!!
