No. I don’t think it matters at all really, but I personally would not want a Ken doll with a penis, so I’m fine with Barbie not having nipples or pubic hair.
I’m totally fine with statues and paintings of nudes, but dolls, I’m going to say give it a rest. Dolls are for imagination and children are not really thinking about parts of the body, are they? Playing with dolls hopefully isn’t about sex at 5 years old, it’s more platonic story telling. Not that our anatomically correct bodies have to be about sex, but anyway, I’m just fine with making Barbie more about her clothes and hairstyles than her naked body.
What are you going to do, give her nipples and then she needs a bra to cover her nipples. Another garment to sell. Or, I guess the nipples could just be drawn on. Is that satisfactory for the Q, or the OP is asking about a bump there?
