It’s getting to the point that Musk can’t be believed, no matter what he says.

Maybe he was watching Star Trek last week, and came up with some approach to a warp speed device. But there’s a very big distance between glimmer in his eye and something that can be built – the technology just isn’t there.

Plus he has a reputation for making stories up as he goes along.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to the Ward Bdrive bullshit until there’s soem science behind it that actually works.

“Full Self Driving” was supposed to come out in 2015. Musk has been promising “next year” each year, every year, ever since.
He said he would land on Mars in 10 years. Which he said 10 years ago.

Doesn’t sound realistic, probably more of the 50% of stuff you read off the internet that’s false.

Do you have a link?

He speculates a lot. I would wait until he shows something tangible.

There has been work done to build an object the size of a microchip that could travel to Alpha Centauri with a speed of 1/5 the speed of light. Link . I seriously doubt that Musk could do any better.
