Have you noticed how galloping inflation has distorted standard business practices?

Last week, we stopped in at the Smashburger to grab a bite and there is no longer a price included with anything listed on the menus nor are prices on the illuminated displays of the menu above the counter. It’s a brave new world.

Again, you can’t rationally make broad styatements “distorted business practices” based on one example. That’s an overstatement, and may or may not be true.

I can say that getting a hamburger at Wendy’s costs more than it did 5 months ago. And buying gas of course is much more expensive. (Last night: Unleaded – $3.86 at Exxon)

Hyperbole doesn’t really add much.

@elbanditoroso Wow gas price only $3.86 per gallon! Decent! That’s well less that the $4.95 9/10 a gallon here in Tacoma.

You think that is bad for gas try $8.07 a us gallon here.

I noticed that the major retailers are changing they policies on shipping and pick for purchases. I don’t know if inflation is part of the rationale or if it’s something else.
